Debbie Hudson – A Purrrfect Volunteer |
|
The HSFC relies on the kindness and dedication of volunteers to help with a variety of duties needed to run the shelter and care for the animals. This month, we would like to recognize one of our most dedicated and compassionate volunteers, Debbie Hudson.
As an animal lover, Debbie wanted to do something to help homeless animals. She found that the HSFC was a “no kill” shelter, signed up, and quickly realized that the HSFC was the purrrfect place to volunteer. It is evident that Debbie loves to volunteer, because she has spent over 179 hours in 1 year volunteering! In fact, she was recently named the Hands on Forsyth Volunteer of the Year!
Over the last 2 years, Debbie has dedicated herself mostly to the cats.

Special thanks to Hamby Road Animal Hospital for an amazing event! There was a great turn out and over $600 was raised for the Humane Society. Plus my dogs and foster dog have never smelled better.
Thanks for all the hard work that went into the event & for bringing your dogs to be washed.
