The Humane Society of Forsyth County does give community service hours for working at our adoption center. Community Service begins at 8:00am at our adoption center (4440 Keith Bridge Rd, Cumming, GA 30041) seven days a week. It is first come first serve, so if you absolutely need the hours, we recommend arriving at 7:45am. We do not accept community service workers starting later than 9am unless approved in advance by staff.
You may work until 5pm at the latest (or you can sign out anytime before 5pm), unless the staff approves for you to stay from 6-8pm. This is on a case by case basis and must be discussed with the closing staff (who works 6-8pm) on the day you wish to work late.
Please bring your log sheet and GDC # (if you have one, otherwise last 4 of your social). We do have some additional log sheets if you were not provided one.
Please review and follow the guidelines below. Print, sign and bring the Acknowledgment and Liability Release with you on your first day of community service.
