Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with the Humane Society of Forsyth County.
Volunteer Orientation is normally on the fourth Thursday of every month at 7 pm at a NEW location, The Humane Society of Forsyth County Thrift Store, located at 168 Tri-County Plaza, Cumming, Georgia, Phone: 770-886-5806. Come hear about all of the volunteer opportunities and get a chance to meet several of our volunteer team leads and get your questions answered. Please take a few minutes to fill out our online volunteer application prior to attending orientation by clicking here. We do require that if you are under the age of 18 that you are always accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is for liability reasons. All volunteers must attend the required volunteer orientation in order to participate as a volunteer at the shelter. We are not funded by local and state government funds and exist only because of the generosity of those who choose to donate to our cause.
