The Humane Society of Forsyth County (HSFC) is an independent, privately funded, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving people and pets for over 40 years. First established in 1975, HSFC has adopted more than 20,000 animals into permanent, loving homes.

We offer quality adoptions, as well as, many different public programs like our low-cost spay/neutering program (SNAP), Pet Food Pantry, and our Humane Heart education programs to enhance the human-animal bond.

Animal Intake: The Humane Society of Forsyth County provides a service by taking in needy animals across North Georgia and provides for them while finding them a new home.

Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Program (SNAP): Getting your pet spayed or neutered is one of the most important things you can do for them. It’s part of the Humane Society of Forsyth Countys (HSFC) mission to keep animals out of the streets and in good health.
Humane Hearts Therapy Dogs: Humane Hearts Therapy Dogs are pets owned by volunteers who want to enrich the lives of special groups within our community.
